Terms of service

Last updated 1 August 2026

In short: Build whatever you like on top of the API. Do not resell the raw dataset or run a competing API with it without a redistribution licence. We bill monthly, you can leave any time, and your data comes with you.

1. The agreement

These terms are between you and TCGGraph. Creating an API key, or making a request with one, means you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you are confirming you have the authority to bind it.

2. What your licence covers

Subject to these terms and your plan, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to access the API and to use the data it returns inside your own products and services.

You may:

  • Display card data and images to your users, including in a paid product.
  • Cache and store responses for as long as your product needs them.
  • Derive analytics, indexes and aggregates from the data.
  • Export bulk data on any plan.

You may not, without a separate redistribution licence:

  • Resell, sublicense or otherwise distribute the raw dataset as a dataset.
  • Expose the API, or a thin wrapper over it, as a competing API product.
  • Use the data to train a model whose purpose is to reproduce the dataset.

If you are unsure which side of that line you sit on, email us and we will tell you plainly rather than wait to find out later.

3. Card names, artwork and publisher rights

Card names, artwork, rules text and game trademarks belong to their respective publishers — The Pokémon Company, Wizards of the Coast, Konami, Bandai, Disney, Fantasy Flight Games and others. TCGGraph is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them.

We licence you our compilation, normalisation and delivery of that information. We cannot licence you the underlying intellectual property, and nothing here purports to. Your use of card artwork and trademarks remains subject to each publisher's own policies, and keeping to them is your responsibility.

4. Acceptable use

Your use of the API is also governed by the acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Billing

  • Billing is prepaid. Your account holds a balance denominated in US dollars, funded by top-ups, and your plan fee is drawn from it on each renewal date. We cannot and do not initiate any payment from you — funds move only when you send them.
  • We accept cryptocurrency only, in one of the assets listed on the pricing page. A top-up is converted to a dollar balance at the rate when the transfer confirms. We do not accept cards, bank transfers or cheques.
  • Network fees are yours. Whatever arrives is what gets credited, so a payment reduced by fees simply adds a little less to the balance. There is no shortfall to chase because nothing is owed in advance.
  • Payments are final once confirmed. Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed, so please check the address and network before you send. We will always help trace a payment sent to the right address on the wrong network, but we cannot guarantee recovery.
  • Credit overage is drawn from the same balance at your plan’s published overage rate and stops once it reaches your plan price, so no billing period can cost more than twice the plan. A daily credit ceiling applies in addition to the monthly allowance.
  • If the balance will not cover the next draw, the plan lapses and API access stops. No debt arises and no invoice is issued. Restore access by topping up.
  • You may change plans at any time. Upgrades are immediate and prorated against the balance; downgrades apply at the next renewal date.
  • Cancel whenever you like. Your plan runs to the end of the period already drawn. Any remaining balance can be returned on request to an address you nominate, less network fees.
  • Prices exclude sales tax and VAT. Where we are obliged to collect it, it is added to the draw, and you can ask for a receipt carrying your company name and tax number.

6. Availability

Growth and Scale plans carry a 99.95% monthly uptime commitment. If we miss it, you are entitled to service credits: 10% of the monthly fee below 99.95%, 25% below 99.5% and 50% below 99%. Claim within thirty days. Free and Starter plans are provided without an uptime commitment.

Scheduled maintenance is announced at least 48 hours ahead on the status page and does not count against uptime.

7. Data accuracy

We work hard on correctness, but card data comes from publishers and marketplaces and occasionally they are wrong, late or inconsistent. Prices are indicative market data, not appraisals or financial advice. Do not use them as the sole basis for a purchase, sale, insurance valuation or investment decision.

8. Your obligations

  • Keep your API keys secret. Activity on your key is attributed to you.
  • Tell us promptly if a key is exposed so we can help you rotate it.
  • Do not attempt to circumvent rate limits, credits or access controls.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate an account that materially breaches these terms or the acceptable use policy, or that fails to pay. Except in cases of abuse or legal compulsion, we will give you notice and a reasonable chance to fix the problem first. On termination you keep whatever data you have already exported.

10. Warranties and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

Our total liability arising out of or relating to these terms is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars. Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced by email and on the changelog at least thirty days before they take effect. Continuing to use the API after that means you accept the new terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and the courts of Amsterdam have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
